DIY – Jamaican Pumpkin Punch With A Twist

So I felt inspired to make some rich Jamaican Pumpkin Punch. The twist was adding “Sweet Corn” yes I said it,  sweet corn my friends. Absolutely delicious.

Dry Pumpkin

Sweet corn

Salted Peanuts

Almond Milk

It was pretty easy to make. First I gathered the ingredients.

Diced the pumpkins into squares then add them to boiling water to cook for about 10 minutes.

After it was cooked, I strained the water off placed them into a bowl to cool. A

After they were cooled I threw them into the blender,  along with the milk ( just so you know I only used almond milk to make the punch, no water). I then poured the milk into the blender with the pumpkin, added a dash of nutmeg and cinnamon, half (1/2) cup of peanuts. One (1) cup sweet corn. One (1) teaspoon vanilla, half cup Guinness or you could use Malta if you’re not into alcohol.  Basically you add the Guinness or Malta to how much of it you actually want to taste in it,  that’s what I did.  Two (2) tablespoon of sugar. (optional) if you like your punch sweet then you could add more.

After all the ingredients were added I blended until everything was smooth to taste. Poured it in a jug and placed it in the fridge to chill for about an 1 hr. Then I served it up on some Ice.

The reviews were bomb. Absolutely delicious. They loved it. I hope you enjoyed this blog post, don’t be afraid to play around in your kitchen, you’d be amazed the things that you can actually make.

Until next time. One love my people. -Skay
